Spent three weeks learning how servers actually work. The assignments force you to troubleshoot real problems, not just follow scripts. Now I can set up and maintain systems without constantly googling basic commands.

The practical side made it click for me. You configure actual networks, break things, fix them, figure out why they failed. After two months, I'm handling network tasks at work that used to go to senior staff.
